Adam Boland
Managing Director
Adam spent two decades at the centre of Australian news production. He overhauled breakfast television, propelling Seven's Sunrise to ratings leadership as executive producer. He also created The Morning Show and Weekend Sunrise, co-executive produced Sunday Night, and led Seven's social media strategy. Post-television, Adam served as head of video at News Corp.
Adam is of Gamilaraay descent and a proud member of the Gamilaraay Aboriginal Corporation, the native title body corporate established under the Federal Court's determination for the Gamilaraay People in 2025. His grandmother, Nancy Dillon, was born in Moree on Gamilaraay Country, and his paternal lineage traces to his great-great-grandparents, James Saunders and Sarah Pye, who are named among the apical ancestors of the Gamilaraay People in that determination.
He has been telling the stories of First Nations communities since 1998, when he was awarded the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Commission Award for Journalism for his reporting on the Yarrabah community. Most recently, he produced the annual video profiles of the recipients of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scientist Awards.
Adam is the author of Brekky Central, published by Melbourne University Press, a member of Screen Producers Australia, and a fierce advocate for smashing the stigma around mental illness.
Steven Claus
Creative Director
Steven spent more than two decades at Channel Seven in Sydney, including roles as senior editor of Sunrise and Sunday Night. His time as Senior Creative in the acclaimed on-air promotions division saw Steven working across the network's entire programming slate, from reality to drama.
He is the recipient of three Gold and three Silver Promax Awards and a Silver Award from the Australian Cinematography Society. Steven excels at identifying human connection points in stories, delivering emotional impact and audience engagement.
Katherine O'Chee
Production Lead
Katherine is an Australian-ASEAN Council International Journalism Fellow. Her work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, SBS News and internationally in the Bangkok Post.
Katherine is the recipient of the Anne Dunn Prize for Outstanding Performance in Video Production. She is a native English speaker and fluent in Mandarin.
Rose Draper
Design Lead
Rose has worked at most of Australia's biggest media companies, including as Design Lead for SBS2. She is an animator, broadcast designer, and all-round creative spark.
You will often see her work on the sails of the Sydney Opera House, and in art collections the world over. Rose has a passion for working on projects that deliver genuine social impact.
Juncheng Guo
Localisation Lead
Juncheng has served as lead video producer for SBS, afternoon host on Chinese radio in Canberra, and Chinese social media manager for the Australian Academy of Science.
He is a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English after obtaining his Masters in Asia-Pacific Studies from the Australian National University. Juncheng is NAATI-qualified and specialises in localising content for Chinese audiences.

Susan Moylan-Coombs
First Nations Adviser
Susan is the Founder and Director of the Gaimaragal Group, whose mission is to bring communities together through cultural translation. Her ancestry is Woolwonga and Gurindji from the Northern Territory.
A former Executive Producer of the ABC's Indigenous Programs Unit and Head of Production at NITV, Susan brings decades of experience at the highest levels of Australian Indigenous media to everything she does.
Professor Alan Duffy
Science Content Adviser
Alan is the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Flagship Initiatives at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. In his spare time, he creates simulated galaxies on supercomputers.
Alan is passionate about science communication, and his regular appearances on television and radio shows have made him one of Australia's most recognised scientists.
